Our Woolwax® Application Process
in 4 Steps

  • We begin with a full SaltBuster® foam pre-wash, combined with a chassis flush to reach hidden areas of your frame and undercarriage. SaltBuster® is scientifically designed to neutralize corrosive chlorides found in road salt and break their chemical bond with metal surfaces. This process strips away active salt crystals that normal washes can’t remove. After neutralization, we perform a high-pressure rinse to leave your undercarriage free of contaminants and ready for treatment.

    (For maximum adhesion, this wash and descaling stage may be performed the day before your coating, allowing the undercarriage to fully dry.)

  • Next, we mechanically descale the undercarriage — removing loose rust, flaking scale, and stubborn debris that would interfere with coating adhesion. By exposing a solid, clean base, we ensure the Woolwax® penetrates and bonds deeply where protection matters most.

    (This step, like the wash, may also be completed a day prior to ensure surfaces are completely dry and ready for application.)

Woolwax Undercoating

  • Once prepped and dry, we apply Woolwax® using both air and airless spray systems with 360° tips to ensure every angle of your frame and cavities are fully coated. Woolwax® self-heals, penetrates, and forms a hydrophobic barrier against salt, moisture, and oxygen.

      • Black – for a clean, factory-style look on frames and components
      • Clear – for a transparent protective finish on visible areas
      • Signature Mix (Most Popular) – Black on the frame, Clear on the floor pan and undercarriage for the best combination of strength and clean aesthetics.
