Terms of Service — Detail Delivery LLC

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using services provided by Detail Delivery LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Customer” or “you”) agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Service Offerings

We provide professional mobile detailing services, including:

  • Interior Detail

  • Interior & Exterior Full Detail

  • Premium add-ons (engine bay detail, stain removal, lighting installs, etc.)

  • Specialty services such as ceramic coatings and undercoating

  • Membership programs

Services are described on our website and may be updated from time to time.

3. Deposits, Payment & Refunds

  • Deposits: Deposit amounts vary based on service type, travel time, and location. Deposits are charged at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

  • No-Shows: Deposits for no-shows are non-refundable and non-creditable.

  • Cancellations: If canceled within 72 hours of the appointment, deposits are creditable toward future service. Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Final Payment: Balance is due at the time of service. We accept major credit/debit cards and other approved payment methods.

4. Memberships

  • Memberships are billed monthly or annually and auto-renew unless canceled in writing with 30 days’ notice.

  • Memberships cannot be refunded once activated.

  • Missed appointments do not roll over unless explicitly allowed by your plan.

  • Active memberships are required to maintain warranty coverage on certain premium services (see Ceramic Coating).

5. Pre-Service Inspection & Liability

  • Our team documents your vehicle’s condition with photos and notes before and after service.

  • This documentation is the agreed record of condition and will be considered final and binding unless you provide contrary evidence.

  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage or defects documented during this process.

6. Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Customer-Initiated: Appointments canceled less than 72 hours prior will result in deposit forfeiture. With 72+ hours’ notice, deposits are credited to future services.

  • Detail Delivery-Initiated: We may reschedule due to weather, equipment, or staffing issues. Customers will be contacted promptly and given priority rescheduling.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Vehicle must be presented in a safe, operable condition.

  • Vehicle must be reasonably cleaned out of personal belongings prior to service. We are not responsible for valuables left inside.

  • Customer agrees to provide access to keys, ignition, shift boot, and steering wheel when required for service.

  • Customer must ensure there is adequate space for safe work (driveway, parking lot, etc.).

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We guarantee the use of professional-grade products and workmanship.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing rust, corrosion, or hidden defects.

    • Mechanical failures unrelated to detailing services.

    • Damage from improper customer maintenance or extreme conditions.

    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the cost of the service performed.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • In accordance with Massachusetts law, if arbitration confirms that Detail Delivery is not liable, the customer agrees to pay for our reasonable attorney and arbitration fees.

  • Judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

10. Weather Delays

Mobile services are weather dependent. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments if weather conditions would affect safety, quality, or results.

11. Ceramic Coating Services

  • Ceramic coatings are warrantied for their original listed lifespan (1-, 2-, or 7-year) when maintained with a minimum of two (2) professional details per year from Detail Delivery.

  • Warranty is void if vehicle maintenance is neglected, coatings are altered by third parties, or improper wash/chemical methods are used.

  • Warranty covers coating performance (hydrophobic effect, gloss retention) but does not guarantee immunity to scratches, chips, or etching.

12. Undercoating Services

  • Scope: Our undercoating services are designed to slow or stop corrosion by sealing metal surfaces from moisture and salt exposure.

  • Resprays: Discounted resprays are available within two (2) years of your last undercoating service.

  • Pre-Existing Rust: Undercoating is effective at slowing progression of surface rust but does not reverse structural corrosion or perforation. Rust hidden beneath factory coatings, seams, or panels may continue to appear.

  • Workmanship Guarantee: We guarantee proper prep and application. If you believe coverage was incomplete, notify us within 7 days for inspection. Confirmed workmanship issues will be corrected at no charge.

  • Exclusions: We are not liable for corrosion arising from hidden rust, mechanical failures, or extreme environmental conditions beyond our control.

13. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
